So glad you all got out and voted! I always tell people that if they don't vote - they shouldn't complain later
Anyways, since no one said who they actually voted for - I'm guessing it's because they consider it a private matter?
No doubt, the country was pretty divided on this one - but the important thing now is to remember that we're all in this together! We're all Americans and we need to support each other for the greater good of this country.
If I coulda had it my way - it would've been Hillary!!! Not only do I think she's an intelligent class-act - I would've loved to a see woman lead. She'd of definitely been the right woman for the job. I hope I get to see a woman elected in my lifetime.
I know it's historic and a huge big deal that I've now gotten to see a black man elected in my life-time - but not as big of a deal to me - still a man. Race, to me, isn't a big deal - but gender is. What I will say though is that I think it's of huge importance for my youngest son to be able to see a black man elected President and lead. I think it will have a big impact on the younger generations that will allow them to further bridge racial divides.
